The Cawthron Aquaculture Park is a purpose built
centre for the NZ Aquaculture sector. It is a shared facility for research,
education and commercial development.
Enjoy a variety of tasks working with a range of species as our new Technician. Can you can offer initiative, skills, enthusiasm, and be happy to work on your own or as part of a team in an innovative and dynamic environment? This role provides technical support for the Aquaculture Group’s research and commercial objectives. Prior hatchery experience would be ideal.
Tasks will include broodstock conditioning, animal husbandry, pond management, nursery production of spat, experimental setup, maintenance and data collection.
